Responsible Gambling
Gambling should be entertainment, not a way to make money. We provide tools to set limits, take a break or close your account, and we verify the age of all users. Below you’ll find how to stay in control – and where to get help if it slips.
Staying in control
Gambling should be treated as a hobby with a fixed limit, not as a source of income. The vast majority of players set an amount they can afford to lose and stick to it. It’s important to retain that gambling should never be seen as a way to make money – you’re paying for entertainment, not investing funds. If you experience losses, avoid raising your stakes to win back what you’ve lost, since this is one of the most common causes of gambling problems. Always play only with money you can afford to lose without it affecting your household finances, and keep regular track of how much time and money you actually spend, rather than relying on your own estimates.
If you need a break, contact support and we’ll close the account temporarily. For self-exclusion, write to [email protected], and we’ll close the account as quickly as possible. If you have accounts with other operators, you must notify them yourself – we can’t close accounts we don’t run.
Does this sound familiar?
If you’re worried that gambling is affecting your life or those around you, ask yourself these questions:
- Is gambling interfering with work or school?
- Do you play alone for long stretches?
- Has anyone around you commented on your gambling?
- Have you lost interest in family, friends or other hobbies?
- Have you lied about how much or how long you’ve played?
- Have you borrowed, stolen or lied to get money for gambling?
- Do you play until the money runs out?
- Do you try to win back a loss immediately after it happens?
- Do you feel desperate when you run out of money to play with?
- Do arguments, frustration or disappointment trigger the urge to play?
- Do you feel depressed or have suicidal thoughts because of gambling?
If you answer yes to several of these, it’s worth reaching out to one of the organisations below.

Underage players
Registration for anyone under the legal gambling age – 18 or 19 depending on your province – is prohibited. We verify the age of all users, and winnings won by minors are voided without exception. The account is closed permanently.
Filtering and parental control
If you share a computer with family or friends, you can block access to gambling sites with a filter. We recommend Net Nanny and similar parental-control software. The filters are installed locally and prevent minors from opening gambling sites from the machine.
