KYC & AML

We’re legally required to confirm who you are and where your money comes from before we pay out winnings. The checks follow current AML regulations and apply to all customers, without exception. Below you’ll find which documents we ask for, when we ask for them, and what happens if they aren’t submitted.

Why we run checks

The checks have two purposes: to confirm that you are who you say you are, and to prevent the platform from being used for money laundering or financing criminal activity. They also protect you – verification is what makes it impossible for anyone else to withdraw money from your account. This is not optional, and we cannot make exceptions for individual customers.

Documents we ask for

We normally ask for three types of documentation:

  • Identification: a copy or photo of your passport, driver’s licence or national ID card
  • Proof of address: a bank statement, utility bill or lease agreement, no older than three months
  • Payment method: proof of ownership of the card, e-wallet or account you use, along with transaction history

In some cases we also ask for documentation of where the funds originate. We may carry out verification by phone or facial recognition, and we use recognised third-party providers – including credit reference agencies and fraud-prevention software – to perform the checks on our behalf.

Deadlines

You have 30 days to submit the documents after we request them. We normally process them within 10 days, but complex cases may take longer. Until verification is complete, we may hold back transactions and suspend the account. If the documents are not submitted in time, we close the account permanently.

The fastest route is to complete verification at registration, not once the winnings are already in the account. Then the withdrawal goes straight to processing instead of waiting on document checks.

When checks are triggered

Checks can happen both before and after deposits and withdrawals. They are triggered by, among other things, transactions that pass the thresholds set in the AML rules, unusual transaction patterns regardless of amount, suspicion that the account is being used by another person, and refund requests. We may carry out checks at our own discretion at any time.

Prohibited activity

The following will result in the account being closed and the case reported to the relevant authorities:

  • Money laundering, terrorist financing or other financial crime
  • Use of payment funds that do not belong to you, or that originate from an illegal source
  • Transferring funds between customer accounts – this is strictly prohibited
  • Duplicate accounts, false information or use of another person’s identity

Winnings tied to such activity are voided, and payouts may be reversed.

Protection of funds and information

Customer funds are kept separate from the company’s own money in dedicated client accounts, so they are protected in the event of insolvency. The personal data you submit is processed in line with our privacy policy and shared only with third parties that carry out verification on our behalf. If you have questions about an ongoing check, contact [email protected].
